Amely Bochaton finished in the top 20 in every tournament during the season, including eight top three finishes and six wins. The individual South Atlantic Conference Champion was named both the SAC Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, as well as the WGCA Freshman of the Year Presented by StrackaLine (below).
Madison Murr finished in the top two in all but one tournament during the season. She collected five wins, including individual titles at the NCAA Championship and California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship, and was named CCAA Golfer of the Year.
The Dallas Baptist women’s golf team placed in the top five in every tournament played throughout the season. The Patriots collected five tournament victories, including the NCAA Championship and the Lone Star Conference Championship. You can watch Coach Trapp’s acceptance speech here.
Jessica Greene helped lead the Jennies to eight top three finishes, including six tournament victories. After winning both the MIAA Championship and the NCAA Central Regional, Central Missouri went on to finish runner-up at the NCAA Championship.
Last October, Hallie Crozier began experiencing a slight headache which led to a lifesaving craniectomy. Unbeknownst to all, she was born with a tangle of blood vessels in her brain that had burst. Although the procedure saved her life, she still faces a long road to recovery.
She is currently in a cognitive and physical rehabilitation center as she regains basic functions and works to rewire her brain. Hallie was a constant source of inspiration for the Bulldogs, who went on to reach the NCAA Championship for the first time in 16 years.
