This week sees the commencement of the 2026 NCAA DI Men's Regionals. The Regionals are the final stage in the season before the National Championships and will determine this year's competitors at Omni La Costa.
This year, for the first time ever, each and every regional tournament will be livestreamed by our partners, Babygrande Golf meaning fans, families, coaches, and supporters will be able to follow every regional — across the country — live and on demand.
From Athens to Marana, 81 teams and 45 individuals will converge across six host sites vying for a place on college golf's most coveted stage. For the competing teams and players, the goal is simple – finish in the top five to punch your ticket to the Natties in Carlsbad.
The 2026 regional sites and contenders
This year's path to the National Championship runs through six different host sites. Here's a quick look at where the action is happening:
Athens
University of Georgia Golf Course
Top-ranked Auburn enter as clear favourites and come in as the number one seed, led by junior Jackson Koivun who has had a historic season with six individual wins in his last eight starts. The Tigers won the NCAA title two years ago and will be hungry to go one better after falling short in 2025. Host Georgia (#26) will be hoping for a strong showing on home turf, while Vanderbilt (#13) and Illinois (#12) will also be in contention for a top-five finish.

Virginia enter as the top seed and come in as one of the form teams in the country, having won back-to-back ACC Championships. The Cavaliers were runners-up at last year's National Championship, losing to Oklahoma State in the final, and will be eager to go one better in 2026. Ben James (#3 and a Ben Hogan Award finalist) anchors one of the most experienced lineups in the field. Ole Miss (#10) arrive having won the SEC for the first time in 41 years and are arguably the hottest non-top-seed in the bracket. Georgia Tech (#22), USC (#28), and Wake Forest (#32) round out a strong field in North Carolina.
Bryan
Traditions Club
Texas are the top seed in their home state and serve as the host institution for the entire 2026 championship — added motivation for the Longhorns to make a statement. North Carolina (#9) and Tennessee (#16) are the next best ranked sides, with Niall Sheils Donegan of UNC among the top individual contenders going into the week.

Florida (#2) come in as the top ranked team and arrive in Columbus in red-hot form, having won five team titles this season. The Gators set a new program scoring record at the SEC Championship and will be difficult to stop on any course. Stanford (#14) and Florida State (#25) provide strong ACC resistance, with Tyler Weaver of Florida State one of the individual players to watch. The individual competition here is also wide open, with a number of talented players competing outside of team spots including Princeton's Riccardo Fantinelli (#119, the top-ranked individual in the field.

Arkansas (#6) head to the Pacific Northwest as the top seed, with Texas Tech (#7) and Oklahoma (#17) close behind them. Connor Graham's senior season for Texas Tech is one of the quiet stories of the spring and the Red Raiders will be a genuine threat to Arkansas' top billing. UCLA (#30) and Notre Dame (#31) add further depth to a wide-open western regional. The individual field is equally competitive, with Washington State's Sam Renner (#148) leading a group of ten individuals who will all be pushing for the one available qualifying spot.
Marana

All eyes will be on defending national champion Oklahoma State (#5) as they begin their quest to become the first program in twelve years to win back-to-back NCAA titles. LSU (#8), Arizona (#18), and Alabama (#20) will be the main challengers, alongside Duke (#29) and Clemson (#33). The individual title race will be closely watched too — the national championship individual medalist earns exemptions into this summer's U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and the 2027 Masters.
Make sure you're following all the action from the regionals with Scoreboard, the home of college golf and our partners at Babygrande Golf who will be live streaming each and every regional HERE. Who will make it to Omni La Costa? Make sure you're following to find out!
