Daytona State (FL) claimed the 2024 NJCAA DI Women's Golf Championship title at Duran Country Club, Melbourne FL. The Falcons totaled a team score of 1162 strokes to take home the trophy by 10 shots.
In the individual championship, it was glory again for Daytona State as Angelica Holman claimed the title by two shots.
Daytona State had four players finish inside top-18, and all five players finish as All-Americans. This was Daytona State’s eleventh DI Women’s Golf National title and first since 2018.
Seminole State finished in 2nd position, 10 shots back, with a total team score of 1172. All five of the the Raiders players made the All-America team. In third was Odessa who finished the week with a total score of 1219. Alisa Brannock from the Wranglers also made it onto the All-America team.
In the individual championship it was Angelica Holman who finished atop the leaderboard. A total score of 284 for the week including rounds of 69, 66, 76 and 73 meant she finished two shots ahead of Butpapaporn Sukterm of Barton Community College. Angelica is the eighth individual national champion to come from Daytona State.
