A round up of standout team and individual performances in the week 20-25 September.
2025 NCAA champions (main image) won the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational at Olympia Fields with a stunning comeback win. Coach Alan Bratton’s men surged from 10 shots back in the final round to win by two over .
The Gators had set or tied multiple tournament records with their second round score of 267. They broke the 18-hole team record by two shots, tied the 36-hole team record and became the first team round in tournament history to have multiple team members shoot 66 or better and a drop score of 70.
Tim Wiedemeyer of won his first collegiate title, taking medalist honors with a six-under-par 54-hole total.
(above) broke numerous records in their 17-shot win over Pepperdine at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic: 18-hole team scoring record (267/-21); 54-hole team scoring (825/-39), lowering the previous best by six strokes; and the 54-hole tournament record, which they lowered by seven shots.
tied for medalist honors at 2013 (13 under par), which ties the tournament record and is the joint second-lowest 54-hole score in school history, which also happens to tie Koo’s best total (at last season’s Juli Inkster).
shot an opening round 63 (-9), which was not only a tournament record and a program record, but is also a course record at Red Sky Golf Club in Colorado.
At the 13th Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club, fired rounds of 67 (-3) and 65 (-5) on Saturday – the latter a new OU freshman record.
Tilma (above), whose mother Cathy (née Stevens) won the 1991 Big Eight championship for Oklahoma, recorded a 54-hole total of 202 (-8), the second lowest in program history and another freshman record.
men’s team (above) finished the William H Tucker Invitational with an 11-under-par final round to win by five strokes, becoming the first side in program history to open the season with two straight team titles; Coach Rob Murray's team also won the Ram Masters Invitational.
won the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational by three shots, after tying the program record for lowest round (266/-14) in round one and setting a new 54-hole record with 813 (27 under par).
Freshman Luke Johnston tied the program record for 36-hole score with rounds of 65 and 64. He was caught be teammate and fellow freshman Samuel Harris in the final round as both posted a new 54-hole program record of 198 (12 under par) to finish as co-medalists. Johnston eventually won the playoff on the fourth playoff hole.
(below) won the Air Force tournament, its first team win since 2023. Coach David Nuhn’s team finished with a school record 841 (-23) to claim the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational by 10 strokes over Gonzaga.
women set new school records for lowest 36-hole score (-2) and lowest team round (-4) in relation to par in the process of winning the YSU Roseann Schwartz Invitational, a third straight fall season tournament win.
After seizing a commanding 21-shot advantage with a team score of 290 in the opening round, YSU (above) pulled away with a school-record 284 on Monday to win the event by 36 strokes over runner-up Purdue Fort Wayne.
Finally, in DIII (above) had himself a day at the Williams Fall Invitational. After making an eagle three on the 1st hole at Taconic GC, his 18th, in round one, he then made an albatross two on the 10th, his 9th hole, in round two.
Babson went on to win the tournament by 11 strokes and Fowler finished in a tie for sixth.
